We had a fantastic days training with eight brilliant staff at Rest Assured on Wednesday 13th march 2024.
we were asked to deliver bespoke training day to cover the following topics
- Basic life support
- Health and safety
- Assisting and moving people
- Fire safety.
The car was packed up the night before with all equipment such as hoists, standing turntables, CPR manakins, choking vests etc as we like to make our courses as practical as possible to truly represent the technical skills care workers have to display every single day when working.
Everyone was involved in the activities and shared their own experiences, knowledge and understanding to our group, throughout the day to contribute to our community of practice.
