The Care Certificate
The Care Certificate
We provide a mentor to ensure learners are supported through the Care Certificate process by collecting and assessing evidence, with them, to meet the Care Certificate standards.
The 16 standards are as follows;
- Understand your role.
- Personal development
- Duty of care.
- Equality & Diversity.
- Work in a person-centred way.
- Communication.
- Privacy & dignity.
- Fluids & Nutrition.
- Awareness of mental health and dementia
- Safeguarding adults.
- Safeguarding children.
- Basic life support.
- Health & safety.
- Handling information.
- Infection prevention.
- Awareness of learning disability and autism
- We offer different ways to collect evidence such as face to face training, workbooks, verbal questions, reflective practice, case study’s, poster presentations, workshops and professional discussions to complete the award to suit each learners needs.
- Learners can contact us via email, FaceTime, Teams or phone for advice or guidance they may need while completing the work for their Care Certificate.
- We book regular reviews and workshops to ensure learners are on track and are confident completing the work required.
- Certificates are awarded, with individual learning objectives stated, for each of the standards completed. This allows you to easily match evidence against the Care Certificate standards for regulatory bodies.
